Abstract
Photochemical intramolecular cyclisation of 2-bromo-N-(4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenethyl)-4,5-methyl-enedioxybenzylamine and of 2-bromo-5-hydroxy-N-(4-hydroxyphenethyl)-4-methoxybenzylamine gave 2-methoxy-3-oxocrinine (2) and its analogue (4), respectively.
