Total synthesis of (±)-tubotaiwine (dihydrocondylocarpine)

Abstract
We report a total synthesis of the indole alkaloid (±)-tubotaiwine in eleven stages from tryptamine, using an intermediate involved in the synthesis of geissoschizoline.
