Total Synthesis of (±)-Kadsurenin M?

Abstract
The first total synthesis of racemic kadsurenin M was accomplished starting from vanillin via a key intermediate 3,4-dimethoxycinnamyl 4-formyl-2-methoxyphenyl ether.
