Application of gas-liquid chromatography to the analysis of essential oils. Part XV. Determination of “rhodinol” in oils of geranium

Abstract
The “rhodinol” contents of oils of geranium were determined by gas-liquid chromatography which quantifies the individual free alcohols citronellol, geraniol and linalol. The method also quantifies the increase of these alcohols resulting from alkaline hydrolyses.
