A very large Rh–Rh bond shortening on excitation of the [Rh2(1,8-diisocyano-p-menthane)4]2+ ion by time-resolved synchrotron X-ray diffraction
IEEE Transactions on Components, Packaging and Manufacturing Technology ( IF 0 ) Pub Date: 2004-08-19 , DOI: 10.1039/B409463H
A very large Rh–Rh contraction of ~0.85 ? occurs on excitation of the [Rh 2 (1,8-diisocyano- p -menthane) 4 ] 2+ ion to its triplet state.

A very sensitive high-resolution NMR method for quadrupolar nuclei: SPAM-DQF-STMAS
IEEE Transactions on Components, Packaging and Manufacturing Technology ( IF 0 ) Pub Date: 2005-06-09 , DOI: 10.1039/B502840J
We show that by combining the intrinsically larger (with respect to MQMAS ) efficiency of Double-Quantum Filtered Satellite-Transition MAS (DQF-STMAS), with the large S/N gain of the Soft-Pulse Added Mixing ( SPAM ) concept, a new very sensitive high-resolution solid-state NMR method can be obtained for semi-integer quadrupolar nuclei.

A viable strategy for screening the effects of glycan heterogeneity on target organ adhesion and biodistribution in live mice?
IEEE Transactions on Components, Packaging and Manufacturing Technology ( IF 0 ) Pub Date: 2018-06-25 , DOI: 10.1039/C8CC01544A
This work represents the first broad study of testing diverse heterogenous glycoconjugates (7 different glycoalbumins) for their differential in vivo binding (11 different cancer cell types) in both cell- and animal-based studies. As a result, various changes in biodistribution, excretion, and even tumor adhesion were observed.

A thermally-stable enzyme detection assay that amplifies signal autonomously in water without assistance from biological reagents?
IEEE Transactions on Components, Packaging and Manufacturing Technology ( IF 0 ) Pub Date: 2012-11-05 , DOI: 10.1039/C2CC36861G
This Communication describes a thermally-stable small molecule and a corresponding assay strategy that autonomously amplifies a colorimetric signal when a specific enzyme biomarker is detected.

A thiolate/disulfideionic liquid electrolyte for organic dye-sensitized solar cells based on Pt-free counter electrodes?
IEEE Transactions on Components, Packaging and Manufacturing Technology ( IF 0 ) Pub Date: 2011-08-09 , DOI: 10.1039/C1CC13723A
The ionic liquid , 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium tetracyanoborate , was employed to prepare a thiolate/ disulfide ionic liquid electrolyte with low viscosity for organic dye -sensitized solar cells (DSCs). CoS was introduced and showed better photovoltaic performance in DSCs than the ubiquitous platinized FTO CE.

Absence of chiral discrimination in the interaction of tris(diphenylphenanthroline)ruthenium(II) with DNA
IEEE Transactions on Components, Packaging and Manufacturing Technology ( IF 0 ) Pub Date: 1900-01-01 , DOI: 10.1039/A706122F
Δ- and Λ-[Ru(dpphen) 3 ] 2+ (dpphen = 4,7-diphenyl-1,10-phenanthroline) bind non-intercalatively to B-form DNA and, unlike other octahedral metal complexes, show insignificant enantioselectivity in their interaction.

Absence of quenching by [Fe(CN)6]4? is not proof of DNA intercalation?
IEEE Transactions on Components, Packaging and Manufacturing Technology ( IF 0 ) Pub Date: 2011-01-04 , DOI: 10.1039/C0CC04973E
The quenching of the 3 MLCT emission of three Ru( II ) complexes of known DNA binding mode is compared. This work shows that relative binding constants dictate whether quenching is observed in the presence of DNA rather than protection of the probe by intercalation, as has been commonly stated.

Absolute chirality of the γ-polymorph of glycine: correlation of the absolute structure with the optical rotation??
IEEE Transactions on Components, Packaging and Manufacturing Technology ( IF 0 ) Pub Date: 2012-04-27 , DOI: 10.1039/C2CC30549F
Crystal specimens of the γ-polymorph of achiral glycine which crystallize in space groups P 3 1 and P 3 2 as determined by the anomalous X-ray scattering method are shown to be laevorotatory and dextrorotatory, respectively, as determined by optical rotation of the crystals.

Absolute helicity induction in three-dimensional homochiral frameworks?
IEEE Transactions on Components, Packaging and Manufacturing Technology ( IF 0 ) Pub Date: 2008-11-13 , DOI: 10.1039/B816742G
Three Co( II ) isomers assembled from D -, or L -, or DL -camphorate together with achiral isonicotinate exhibit a clear relationship between chirality and helicity even though chiral molecules are not in the backbone of the helix: the absolute sense of helix made of achiral components is controlled by chains of metal and enantiopure chiral ligands running perpendicular to helix in two enantiomeric forms.

Absorbance enhancement of aptamers/GNP enables sensitive protein detection in rat brains?
IEEE Transactions on Components, Packaging and Manufacturing Technology ( IF 0 ) Pub Date: 2018-01-05 , DOI: 10.1039/C7CC08636A
An absorbance enhanced probe based on gold nanoparticles (GNPs) was proposed for a protein assay in the cerebrospinal fluid of a rat brain. The GNPs, assembled with two aptamers by proximity ligation, have high anti-salt properties, and good selectivity and response toward proteins, such as interferon-gamma, in the brain.
