Abstract
Photoelectrocyclization of 3H
-azepinessubstituted in the 2-position with ethoxy, amino, anddimethylamino groups yielded 3-substituted2-azabicyclo[3.2.0]hepta-2,6-dienes as the only major volatileproducts, in all cases.
