Abstract

An enantioselective cooperative catalysis protocol, utilizing achiral Au(I) complexes and chiral Br?nsted acids, has been developed for the synthesis of optically pure fused 1,2-dihydroisoquinolines starting from 2-alkynylbenzaldehydes and 2-aminobenzamides.
