Abstract

Efficient total syntheses of fluvibactin and vibriobactin have been achieved via molybdenum(VI) oxide-catalyzed dehydrative cyclization, Sb(OEt)3-catalyzed esteramide transformation, and WSCI and HOAt-promoted dehydrative amide formation.
